RULES (ENGLISH)
We kick off the 50/50 Raffle at RGV FC Toros home games this season.
Tickets are sold in cash and credit throughout the concourse, and at CAPA Scoreboard Bar as soon as doors open and conclude at the 75th minute.
Every game, one lucky fan will win 50% of the net proceeds for that night, with the other 50% going the Rio Grande Valley Vipers Foundation in partnership with the RGV FC Toros.
One winning raffle ticket number will be electronically selected and announced on the scoreboard in the 75th minute of the match.
Winners must claim their prize by the end of the game. Ticket will be invalid by the following day.
The Raffle is open to all legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia that are age eighteen (18) years of age or older, as of the date of the entry.
The Foundation reserves the right to request photo identification from any person desiring to enter the Raffle.
3 Tickets for $5.00, 10 Tickets for $10.00, or 50 Tickets for $20.00 from designated Foundation representatives stationed throughout the stadium. *Subject to change*
Employees, full-time and their immediate family members, of the Foundation, RGV FC Toros, the other USL Entities (defined below) and each of their respective parent, subsidiary or affiliated companies, and each of their respective shareholders, employees, affiliates, representatives, agents, board members, and successors are not eligible to enter to participate the Raffle.
Raffle tickets will be available for purchase in-person only at H-E-B Park in Edinburg at every RGV FC Toros home game from the time the gates open (6:30) to the public, concluding at the end of the 75th minute.
If a game does not start on time, or is delayed, tickets will be sold until game officially begins and ends.
No discounts or complimentary Tickets will be provided.
If a person does not have an admission ticket to a particular game, a Ticket may be purchased during the Entry Period from the Box Office.
Each Ticket is a receipt for Entrant’s purchase and represents an entry for the Raffle for that game and is not eligible for any past of future Raffle drawings.
There is no limit to the number of Tickets an Entrant may purchase.
All Ticket purchases are final, no refunds or replacements will be issued.
The winning Ticket will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. The Drawing will be held approximately during the 75th minute and will be conducted by the Foundation whose decision will be final and binding.
Official Winners will be subject to the IRS rules and regulations regarding gambling winnings. The Foundation will complete and file IRS form W-2G and withhold federal income tax of 25% from the Official Winners proceeds in accordance with IRS guidelines and regulations for prizes at $600.00 and above.
Official Winners who are non-resident aliens for tax purposes will be subject to all applicate withholding and reporting requirements.
Official Winners may waive the right to receive a Prize, at which time the Prize from that Drawing date will be forfeited and proceeds will be reclaimed by the Foundation for charitable use.
There will be a maximum of one Winning Ticket selected during each Drawing
The winner of each Drawing will, subject to the Official Rules, be awarded fifty percent (50%) of the net Raffle sales of that applicable game, less all applicable taxes or fees.
The remaining proceeds shall be retained by the Foundation.
Each winner assumes all responsibility for any state, county, or federal taxes, fees and withholdings. Federal and state withholding laws are subject to change without notice.
The withholding laws in an effect at the time each Prize is claimed will be followed
The cash prize will be paid to the winner by check within 30 days of the date prize is claimed. The Raffle Ticket is the only valid receipt for claiming a prize.
The odds of winning the Prize are 1/the total number of eligible entries received.
Entrants may opt to give away their Raffle Tickets to another eligible person, but in doing so the Entrant waives any claim he/she might otherwise have to the Prize. Entrants may not re-sell their Tickets to other parties and may not give Raffle Tickets away to another for the purpose of allowing those other parties to re-sell such Raffle Tickets.
All Raffle Tickets which have been resold in violation of these Official Rules shall be void
All individuals who re-sell, purchase, or receive Raffle Tickets in violation of these Official Rules shall be ineligible to participate in the Raffle or to win a Prize.
The Foundation, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering within the entry process or otherwise in violation of the Official Rules.
The Foundation further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Raffle for any reason, including, but not limited to any Raffle is not capable of completion as planned, fraud, infection by tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
REGLAS (ESPAÑOL)
Introducimos la rifa 50/50 en los últimos partidos en casa de la temporada de los RGVFC Toros.
Los boletos estarán a la venta, en efectivo, hasta el minuto 75 del encuentro en el pasillo principal del estadio y en los puntos de venta en CAPA Scoreboard Bar.
En cada partido, habrá un ganador que se llevará a casa 50% del total ingresado en la rifa de esa noche, los ingresos restantes de la rifa, es decir, el otro 50% será donado a una fundación sin fines de lucro.
Un solo boleto ganador será seleccionado electrónicamente y será anunciado al minuto 75 del encuentro.
El ganador debe estar presente para reclamar su premio.
La rifa está abierta para todos los residentes legales de los 50 estados y el Distrito de Columbia y deben cumplir con un mínimo de 18 años para participar y recibir el efectivo. Si no cuentan con un estado legal, permanecen elegibles para recibir un premio designado para el reemplazo del efectivo.
La fundación tiene el derecho de pedir una identificación oficial con foto para cualquier persona que desee participar en la rifa.
3 boletos por $5, 10 boletos por $10, o 40 boletos por $20, son los costos de las diferentes opciones de compra. Usted podrá obtener sus boletos con cualquiera de los representantes de la rifa 50/50 o en los puntos de venta en el estadio.
Empleados de tiempo completo o temporal, sus familiares inmediatos, miembros de la fundación RGVFC Toros, otras entidades de la USL y sus familiares, compañías afiliadas o con intereses compartidos, empleados, afiliados, representantes, agentes, miembros de la mesa directiva, y sucesores, no serán elegibles para participar en la rifa.
Los boletos estarán a la venta solamente en persona en el H-E-B Park en Edinburg al momento que abren las puertas al público hasta el minuto 75 del encuentro.
Si un encuentro no empieza o es retrasado, los boletos de la rifa estarán a la venta un mínimo de 65 minutos de cada partido.
No se darán descuentos o boletos gratuitos en la rifa 50/50.
Si no cuenta con un boleto para ingresar al encuentro, usted puede obtener su boleto de entrada en la taquilla principal durante el periodo de inicio del partido.
Cada boleto es un recibo de compra y será sujeto a las reglas de la rifa, los boletos quedan sujetos a los resultados de la noche del encuentro en el cual se obtuvo y no serán elegibles para ningún resultado previo o futuro de la rifa 50/50.
No hay límite en la cantidad de boletos que una sola persona puede obtener.
Todas las compras de boletos son finales, no habrá devoluciones ni reemplazo por boletos extraviados.
El boleto ganador será elegido al azar por un sistema automático, en el cual todos los boletos de la noche serán partícipes de la rifa. El resultado de la rifa se dará a conocer por la fundación 50/50, entre el 75 minuto del encuentro, el boleto seleccionado quedará como único ganador.
El ganador oficial queda sujeto a los reglamentos establecidos por el IRS en cuanto a ganancias de lotería. La fundación llenará la forma oficial del IRS W-2G y se restara el debido 25% de las ganancias obtenidas a manera de lotería en cantidades de $600.00 o mayor.
El ganador oficial mantiene el derecho de no aceptar la ganancia, la cual, al no ser reclamada pasa a ser propiedad de la fundación para ser donada a una fundación sin fines de lucro.
Habrá un máximo de un solo boleto ganador por cada encuentro.
El ganador de la rifa queda sujeto a las ganancias del 50% de los ingresos netos de la noche menos los impuestos y cobros correspondientes a las reglas establecidas.
Los ingresos restantes, quedarán sujetos al uso de la fundación para ser donados a una fundación sin fines de lucro.
Cada ganador asume la responsabilidad de cualquier estado, condado, o impuestos federales, cobros o retenciones. Leyes de impuestos federales o estatales son sujetas a cambios sin aviso previo.
Las leyes de retención actualizadas al momento de ganar serán las leyes a las cuales el ganador quedará sujeto.
El monto en efectivo será liquidado a no más de 30 días después de la fecha ganadora. El boleto ganador quedará como el único recibo oficial de las ganancias.
Las probabilidades de ganar son 1/ por cada boleto obtenido e ingresado al sistema de la rifa de la noche en cuestión.
Participantes de la rifa tienen el derecho de regalar su boleto a otra entidad elegible pero quedan sujetos a perder sus derechos como ganador. No se permite la reventa de boletos o regalar boletos para motivos de reventa a ninguna entidad elegible.
Cualquier boleto obtenido a través de reventa quedará sin ser elegible para ganar.
Cualquier individuo que venda u obtenga boletos de una manera no correspondiente a las reglas oficiales de la rifa 50/50, quedará sin ser elegible para ganar o reclamar su premio.
Queda a discreción de la fundación 50/50 el descalificar a cualquier individuo en violación de las reglas oficiales de dicha rifa.
La fundación mantiene el derecho de cancelar o modificar la rifa incluyendo pero no limitado a, no poder llevar a cabo la rifa de la manera correcta, fraude, violación de las reglas oficiales, o por cuestiones técnicas que no permitan dar un resultado preciso de la rifa.
