EDINBURG, Texas (Saturday, June 5, 2021) – Rio Grande Valley FC (3-1-1, 10 pts.) looks to build off of late equalizer at SAFC as they face off The Miami FC (3-2-0, 9 pts.) for the first-ever match on Sunday, June 6. Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. CST and will be live on ESPN+.

RGV FC: With Juan Carlos Azocar’s USL Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week – Week 6, the Toros will look to come off that momentum and be potent on the attack and have a solid defensive line. Tyler Deric totaled nine saves at SAFC – tying his career-high back to 2017. Adrian Diz Pe had a spectacular defensive game, and set up Azocar for his bicycle kick goal, which earned him a spot in Team of the Week. RGV FC also added English native Louis Ramsay that will be able to aid in the backline. With Miami being a top team in the Atlantic Division, the Toros will compete to earn three crucial points on the last road trip before coming home.

MIA: Miami stands right below the undefeated Tampa Bay Rowdies but look to earn their third home win. Billy Forbes leads the attacking efforts for Miami with seven shots, one goal and an assist. Devon Williams leads with seven created chances. At the goal, Connor Sparrow has totaled 17 saves while conceding five goals and has kept a lone clean sheet.
