The Rio Grande Valley FC Toros will host Torofest, a festival for the fans highlighted by a scrimmage match between the RGV FC Toros and Futbol Club Motagua, on Saturday, February 24 at H-E-B Park. Entrance to the festival and to the match will be free of charge.
Festivities will include prizes, a kid’s carnival, an autograph session, music, merchandise specials, and food and drink specials. ToroFest will start at 5p.m. The match between the RGV FC Toros and FC Motagua will kick off at 7p.m. Fans get the opportunity view a game for free before picking out their seats for the entire season.
After the RGV FC Toros take one Motagua, the Toros will face San Antonio FC on the road on March 2 prior to kicking off the regular season against Saint Louis FC on March 16. FC Motagua will stay in Edinburg, Texas after facing Club Tijuana on February 21 at H-E-B Park as part of the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League.
The Toros will continue to prepare for their third USL season, kicking off on Friday, March 16 against Saint Louis FC at H-E-B Park.
